Information Sheet - Senior Baseball - Summer 2012/13
Registration: Sunday August 12, 10m to Noon then any training day

Training/Trials: Sunday August 19, 9:30am to 11:30am
Sunday August 26, 9:30am to 11:30am
Saturday September 8, 1pm to 3pm
Wednesdays from August 31, 6:30pm to 8:30pm
Registration Fees: FULL PAYMENT REQUIRED ON REGISTRATION.

All players must be listed September 3 as team nominations need to be submitted to the league by September 4.
Age limits: All players must be 14 or over as at December 31, 2012. Pitching and catching restrictions exist for players aged 19 and below.
Teams and Grading: Some teams “pre arranged” by the team organiser therefore only limited grading is performed when there are vacancies in those teams. Baulkham Hills Baseball Club cannot guarantee that every person can be provided with an appropriate team to play with. Where an appropriate team cannot be found for a player then payments will be refunded.
Uniforms: Uniforms are NOT issued to players until registration has been paid. Baulkham Hills uniform, including white pants and hat, must be worn for all games. Hats, belts, socks and other items can be purchased if needed when uniforms are handed out or when registering. White pants can be purchased from an appropriate sports store.
Competition starts: September 15/16, 2012 and runs for 20 or 21 games followed by the finals in March 2013. See www.pcbaseballleague.org for details about the league and the competitions.
Game times: 1:30pm or 3:45pm on Saturdays and are 2 hours long. Early game must finish at 3:30pm. Late game continues until end of equal innings (tied or otherwise) unless stopped by bad light/conditions.
It may be necessary to play a few Sunday games so players need to be prepared to play on Sunday if required.
Special Rules: Team managers are to be issued a copy of the League rules before the start of the competition or see the PCL web site (www.pcbaseballleague.org).
Umpires: Accredited umpires are required by the club and are paid approximately $40 per game ($80 if doing 2 games) by the PCL. Please contact me if you are interested being an umpire.
